1. Load machines | 1.1. The enterprise safe operating procedures for transporting machinery are sourced and complied with. 1.2. Trailer or float is prepared for loading according to contractor policy. 1.3. Machine is loaded in compliance with safe operating procedures. 1.4. Tying down procedures are completed in line with recognised industry standards. 1.5. Machine is secured to prevent movement in transport according to industry practice. 1.6. Legal requirements for signs indicating oversized loads are met. 1.7. Legal requirements for permits, clearances and escorts for transporting oversized loads are arranged. |
2. Transport machines | 2.1. Machines are driven on or off road in compliance with relevant legislation. 2.2. Machinery is loaded and driven safely to destination in compliance with relevant legislation. 2.3. Selected transport route for oversized loads complies with permits, clearances and relevant legislation. 2.4. Machines are unloaded safely in line with accepted workplace policy. |
